Some Suggested Guidelines: In order to help every one review and prepare for the test questions on the conferences. Try to do these things:
–Clearly articulate the basics of the conference: a) who the actors were b) what was at stake c) the results of the conference d) to what the degree the conference was a success or failure and e) why
–try to keep your entry to Two Pages
–try to provide one or two extra references each student can use to review further; provide links if some of these sources are on the web.
Study Sessions:
November 21, Thursday 4p.m.
Location: Meet In Front Our Usual Class (Decide on a Place Later) or Best Alternative:
Subject Matter: This study session will be all about Questions 1-3 dealing with the conferences. In order to maximize time and effort, EVERYONE should review to the best of their ability all the conferences through the blog and other resources. If we each keep our submissions to about 2 pages, this should be no more than 50 pages; the less gaps in the blog and the less free riders we have the more everyone benefits.
In addition, in terms of the three questions, we should each try to concentrate on one of the three questions and then present them to the group. If we have multiple presenters on each question, we can all get a big picture view of what`s going on, and which conferences are generally pretty close in terms of success and failure.
